Dodoria dispatches the three Namekian warriors
easily. With little other choice, and in order to protect the two Namekian
children, the Elder reluctantly surrenders the Dragonball to Freeza. Having
lost all his Scouters, Freeza then demands to know the location of the
remaining villages and their Dragonballs. When the Elder refuses to betray
the remainder of his people, he and one of the children are killed. Dodoria
is about to finish off the other child, when Gohan cannot watch any more.
Springing to the defense of the helpless orphan, he floors Dodoria with
one blow to his blind side. Kuririn follows, realizing that neither of
them are a match for Freeza's forces, grabs the child, and takes off with
Gohan, making their escape!
Freeza orders a stunned Dodoria to bring
them back, and he takes off after them. Dodoria soon catches up with them,
and Kuririn, realizing there is no way they could win in a direct confrontation,
comes up with another strategy. Handing off the young Namekian to Gohan
with instructions to close their eyes, Kuririn uses the Taiyo-Ken technique
on Dodoria, temporarily blinding him. Gohan, Kuririn and the child hide
among the rocks below, where they should be safe until Dodoria gives up
looking for them.
